About Grace/McAlindin
Life doesn't always follow the plan. Sometimes the gap between where you are and where you want to be can feel
overwhelming. Whether you're navigating a major transition, wrestling with anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, Grace
McAlindin meets you exactly where you are and helps you find your way forward.
Grace is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults across
New Jersey and New York. She specializes in anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., ASD, ADHD),
life transitions, and relationship challenges. These kinds of struggles are deeply common, and yet can feel uniquely
isolating when you're in the middle of them.
What sets Grace's work apart is the environment she creates. From the very first session, clients describe her space as
warm, judgment-free, and genuinely collaborative. There's no pressure to move faster than you're ready to, and no script
to follow. Progress here looks different for everyone - and that's the point.
Grounded in a strengths-based philosophy, Grace draws on CBT, ACT, and DBT to help clients realize their strength,
develop distress tolerance, quiet negative self-talk, build emotional regulation skills, and develop coping strategies that
actually hold up in real life. Her approach is always individualized — because the most effective therapy starts with
understanding you, not just your symptoms.
